Why Doesn't She Leave? Reasons can

She does not want to leave her children.

She hopes her husband will change.

She fears reprisals from her husband.
She is afraid of what the man will do to her and her children if she
tries to leave him.

She is afraid to live without a man.

She believes the children need a father and a mother.

She considers divorce a stigma; she believes she has to keep her husband
and family together at all costs, despite the pain and danger.

She loves her husband.

She knows it is difficult for women with children to find affordable,
good quality
childcare. 13.
She believes it is shameful for women to admit they don’t have good
marriages.

She considers her husband a victim and wants to help him.

She is blamed by society for her own victimization.
